Their journey began long before they officially met. They had numerous mutual friends and family connections across Ohio, particularly within the creative arts community in Columbus. Kaleb, a DJ at the time, often saw Kailynd at his events, as she would come with friends to enjoy the music and atmosphere.

In October 2018, during a trip to LA, Kaleb received a playful message from Kailynd jokingly accusing him of going without her. Kaleb responded with, "I got you on the next trip." Months passed, and in April 2019, Kaleb reached out to Kailynd, asking her about her plans for the 4th of July. Remarkably, Kailynd had already requested those exact dates off, not knowing that she and Kaleb would end up spending that time together.

Before their 4th of July trip, Kailynd and Kaleb went to one of their favorite restaurants, Texas Roadhouse. Over dinner, they shared laughs and dreams, and both felt a deep connection. They began hanging out more frequently, and by May 2019, they made their relationship official. Their 4th of July vacation confirmed what they both felt: they were perfectly aligned in principles, morals, and spirituality.

Kaleb was captivated by Kailynd's creative expressions, and Kailynd admired Kaleb's entrepreneurial spirit. She supported him through the challenging times of preparing for the Fundamentals of Engineering and Professional Engineering exams. With her encouragement, Kaleb became a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and successfully DJed over 200 weddings in Atlanta.

Now, Kaleb is returning the love and support as Kailynd pursues her dream of becoming a licensed architect (A.I.A.). Their move to Atlanta marked the beginning of a new chapter, where they have continued to chase their dreams and grow closer together.
